Eclectic Bargara - Just "seas" it!

On Saturday, 8 June 2024, I travelled to Melbourne, Australia for an 8 day event.

I love Melbourne because of its eclectic, vibrant food and culture.

There are coffee nooks everywhere. The food is amazing. The cakes and desserts are a real treat. The Arts are vibrant. The Melbourne culture is also very welcoming and progressive.

The Visit Victoria slogan even goes "Every bit different"

And it is.

I have come to the realisation that Bargara has almost everything Melbourne has got, just on a smaller scale.

But Bargara has its own “Every bit different”. It has weather that is warmer and as a result, you can swim all year round, including right now in Winter. Bargara even has actual waves so you can surf.

Bargara has amazing cafes, turtles that lay eggs on the beach at Mon Repos, whales that migrate, the Great Barrier Reef at its doorstep, Lady Musgrave Island, the Bundaberg Rum Distillery, Bundaberg Ginger Bear and a wide range of other flavours, the Bert Hinkler Museum, the Moncrief Theatre, locally grown fruit and vegetables, ultra fresh seafood, a multitude of sporting facilities including a lengthy flat path that hugs the oceanfront and there is also an abundance of accommodation options all in Bargara itself.

Sure Melbourne is eclectic and "Every bit different", but so is Bargara!

So what are you waiting for?

We'd love to have you on our team!
